Knowing the prices of the various trim levels is a good way to start your comparison, as you’ll know roughly which trim levels have more advanced engines and cabin technology. On the lower end of the scale, you have the LX and the S, two trim levels with a 2.5 L 4-Cylinder engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The S offers everything that the LX does, which includes many advanced safety features and a touchscreen display. The S adds more convenient amenities like wireless phone charging and upgrades some features like it does by making the touchscreen larger.
Next in line, we have the X-Line S AWD, which is the cheapest of the three X-Line models. All of the X-Line models feature Torque-vectoring All-Wheel Drive, X-Line body styling, and high-utility roof rails for transporting cargo atop your SUV. The unique style and drivetrain make these models some of your sportiest options. The higher two X-Line models, the X-Line EX AWD and the X-Line SX Prestige AWD add on larger wheels and more premium features.
The EX is a mid-tier trim level with a nice mix of performance, safety, and tech features, including an upgraded engine, a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds, LED fog lights, a Smart Power Tailgate, and more.
Finally, we have two of the highest options, the SX and the SX Prestige AWD. As the name might imply, the SX Prestige AWD has everything offered by the SX and adds on some luxury (prestigious) features as well as All-Wheel Drive. SX features include a panoramic sunroof with a power sunshade, auto rain-sensing windshield wipers, and power-folding side-view mirrors. The SX Prestige AWD adds a memory driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and more.
