There are five trim levels for the 2023 Kia K5. The LXS FWD and GT-Line FWD are the lower two options, while the GT-Line AWD, the EX, and the GT are the higher options. Below, we’ve lumped them into these two groups to tell you about their pricing, features, and specifications. Hopefully, we can help you find the right trim level here at Matt Castrucci Kia. If you’re interested in a Kia K5, pay us a visit in Dayton, OH.
The base trim level is the LXS FWD. It has a starting MSRP of $25,090. The features of the LXS FWD will be present on higher trim levels, or, if they’re absent, an upgraded version will replace them. The basic equipment of this model includes a 1.6 L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 8-speed automatic transmission, Auto Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, LED headlights, and more. Most people will opt for the base model if they want to save money.
The GT-Line FWD trim level has a starting MSRP of $26,490. The MSRP is just slightly higher than the base model, and for that increase in price, you get upgraded wheels and a 10-way power driver’s seat with 2-way power lumbar adjustment. Lumbar adjustment lets you adjust the lower back of your seat in or out, to provide the correct amount of back support.
The GT-Line AWD model is the third-highest trim level option in terms of pricing and luxury features. The following features of the GT-Line trim level are either added on or in place of standard GT-Line FWD features: All-Wheel Drive (AWD), Drive Mode Select, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and more. As you can see, it adds a variety of features, making it a well-rounded vehicle for any driver.
The EX trim level starts out at $28,990. This model is notable for adding a panoramic sunroof and a variety of comfort features including sound-absorbing front door window glass and ventilated front seats. If you like to be surrounded by luxury, choose the EX.
The highest trim level is the GT, starting at $31,490. Like the GT-Line, it adds a variety of features, including safety technology, convenience features, and performance features. It’s the only model with its 2.5 L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, which increases both torque and horsepower ratings. It pairs this with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifters. We highly recommend this trim level for anyone who likes a performance-oriented car.
