Introducing the all-new 2019 Kia Forte! The sporty sedan has been fully redesigned for the model year with fresh new styling, more high-tech features and a new engine. If you were to put the 2019 and 2018 models side-by-side you would instantly notice the difference between the two in terms of styling and performance.
For 2018 the Forte draws a lot of inspiration from the new Kia Stinger and that's very evident in the model's aerodynamic curves and nimble handling. In fact, for 2019 the Forte sees an increase in rigidity, an enhanced electric power-steering system, retuned brakes and a new chassis with 54 percent of high-strength steel. But that's not all. At the end of the day, the 2019 vs. 2018 Kia Forte operate as very individual models. Here's what sets one apart from the other.

Unlike for 2018, the 2019 Forte is available with only one engine. The 2019 model also receives a new continuously variable transmission, which is expected to give the sedan a boost in fuel economy. Kia has made a number of previously optional features now standard on the 2019 Forte, including an 8-inch touchscreen, advanced driver assistance technologies and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 2019 Forte is also slightly longer than the 2018 model and sees a 0.2 cu.ft. increase in cargo space. Wireless charging and a 320-watt audio system have also been added.
Which Kia Forte model is right for you? Choosing between the two comes down to which has the options and capabilities you want. Both models have unique features. For example, the 2018 model has two engine options to choose from, different handling and an individual look and feel. The 2019 model, on the other hand, keeps the signature Forte performance but takes things to another level. Both Kia Forte models are also available in a hatchback version – the Forte5.
