When the 2018 Kia Soul Plus and Exclaim are side-by-side you are sure to notice a few differences right away. First, the Exclaim has gloss black/red exterior and interior accents and larger wheels. Both models also have a different engine under the hood, with the more powerful 201-hp version for the Exclaim.  

In terms of features, both models have a generous array, including a 7-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, 60/40-split folding rear seats, satellite radio, a USB port, rear privacy glass and much more.  

Unlike the base model, the Plus has selectable drive modes, foglights, upgraded cloth upholstery, a cargo cover and a wide range of other features. It also has a six-speed automatic transmission. Moving up to the Exclaim trim adds a seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission; upgraded gauges; a leather-wrapped steering wheel; and leather and cloth seat upholstery. Both the Plus and Exclaim models are available with a variety of optional accessories packages.  

For example, car shoppers can get the upgraded gauges and leather upholstery from the Exclaim trim on the Plus with the Primo package. This premium package also adds power-folding mirrors, a panoramic sunroof, a suite of driver assistance technologies, adaptive cruise control, heated rear seats and much more.
