Are you looking for something a little different than the ordinary crossover SUV? The 2018 Kia Sorento might be on your list. This five-passenger model is technically larger than the typical midsize crossover SUV but not as large as a minivan. It falls comfortably in-between the two extremes and is available in five- and seven-passenger configurations. Where this premium model shines is its spacious interior, a generous array of high-tech features and smooth handling. It's a great choice for car shoppers in search of a sophisticated crossover that has the space and cargo room they need without having to move up to a huge, family-hauler.
Choose from five trims, including the L, LX, EX, SX and SX Limited. Each model is standard with a wide variety of high-tech features. These include a rearview camera, selectable drive modes, Bluetooth, a six-speaker sound system, satellite radio, a CD player and much more. While the base-L is a great choice, if you're looking for a Sorento equipped with even more entertainment and convenience features, we recommend the LX or the EX. Here's a closer look at how the two compare.

When it comes down to the details, the most significant difference between the LX and EX models are the high-tech features available. Both are standard with front-wheel drive and have the option of all-wheel drive. The LX is also standard with all the features from the L model and adds roof rails, a noise-reducing windshield and much more. It's also available with an optional Convenience package that adds Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats and rear parking sensors. There is also an optional Cool and Connected package and an Advanced Technology package.
Moving up to the EX carries over all the features from the L, LX and the Convenience package. But that's not all. The EX also adds a turbocharged engine, a hands-free liftgate, power-folding mirrors, leather upholstery, foglights and much more. There's also an optional Advance Touring package available, which adds a panoramic sunroof, LED interior lighting and everything from the Advanced Technology package.
