This sedan’s first four trim levels, FE, LXS, GT-Line and EX, come standard with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The final trim level, GT, is powered by a turbocharged, 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine that generates 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.
In addition to coming equipped with a more powerful engine, the 2021 Kia Forte GT also comes standard with performance-oriented features such as high performance tires, 18-inch wheels, a sport-tuned exhaust system and a sport-tuned suspension system. The GT trim also adds features such as black faux leather upholstery, LED headlights and a paddle shifter for models equipped with the automatic transmission system.
