The Kia Forte will save drivers more money on gas than anything else in the Kia lineup. The Forte comes with two different transmissions which directly impact the car’s fuel economy. The base model features both a six-speed manual transmission and an intelligent variable transmission (IVT). All other trims come only with the latter. Drivers of the six-speed manual transmission will average up to 37 highway mpg and 27 city mpg. The IVT is more efficient as it contributes to 41 mpg and 21 city mpg. Regardless of the model you go with, you will get one of the most efficient compact cars available today!
