The base engine of the Stinger is a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder motor powered by 255 horses. There, we got that out of the way. Hold on a second, though, because there is more. That engine is standard on the base and Premium models, but the GT, GT1, and GT2 trims come with even more impressive numbers. All GT models, including the GT1 and GT2, come standard with a 3.3-liter V6 engine with a whopping 365 horsepower. While this car is exhilarating to drive, Kia also wanted to make sure that it would be reasonably efficient.

2018 Kia Stinger fuel economy

Drivers who want to maximize their fuel economy ought to be more interested in the I4 engine option. As the most efficient choice available, this engine contributes up to 29 highway mpg and 22 city mpg. Those who opt for a GT model will upgrade their horsepower but that comes at a cost. The Stinger GT, GT1, and GT2 average up to 25 highway mpg and 19 city mpg.
